Meet the winemaker - Pieropan
The Pieropan family has been producing wine in the Soave region for over 150 years. Calvarino Soave Classico DOC 2020 is made from Garganega and Trebbiano di Soave grapes grown in the Calvarino vineyard.
The volcanic soil of the vineyard combined with the cool climate of the region give the wine its unique character.
The 2020 harvest had a warm and dry summer, which led to a low yield, but high-quality grapes.
The wine is a true expression of the terroir and the experience of the winemaker, which makes it one of the most sought-after Soave wines on the market.
